CAPRICORN Anyone who has studied the 12 signs will at once confirm the truth that there are two types of Capricorn. The giddy mountain goat, always climbing the mountain, and the sad domestic animal tethered to a post down in the valley. The two types have common traits, however, notably where grumbling is concerned; even the most ambitious and successful Capricorn will have a grumble given time, and one doesn’t usually have to give them much time!
More seriously, there is an element of loneliness in many Capricorns, and it is in this sensitive area that we can help them. Sometimes without their realizing it. The achievement of ambition often places Capricorns in the lonely position of someone who has “made it” to the top and has to take ultimate responsibility. They will cope very well with this, but undoubtedly it can set them apart from other people. Capricorns can often appear hard and rather chilly, but once committed in a relationship are very faithful. As they do like the right thing in the right place, they can appear a little too formal. A tendency to social climbing, the need to impress, are often present, but we can forgive everything when that marvellous off beat sense of humour makes its presence felt. Capricorns need to be aware that they may be too strict and conventional with their children; and the children of that sign may have to learn not to take themselves quite so seriously.
Capricorn In Love Love for capricorn is a mutually satisfying exchange that brings the needed security, peace and contentment. And, contrary to general perception, love is very important to them. Yes, it is about ties and responsibilities, but it is also about sensuality and loads of stability. Capricorn’s stern exterior and Saturnine ways may hide their gentle, tender side, but they do understand love. Allow them to open up, and you will get a glimpse of their unbridled passion and supreme self-confidence, which sure can be charming beyond words. Saturn infuses a great respect for age, culture, success and achievement in a them, so the Goat get drawn to the rich and the successful.
Capricorn At Work Capricorns make great entrepreneurs, business executives, politicians, administrators, and managers. In fact, wherever you put a Capricorn in an organisation, you’re sure to see a work-horse attitude, pushing the boundaries to reach the top. Their natural patience with people and tasks allows them to persevere where others might give up. They are comfortable as leaders and actually prefer this role as it gives them a measure of control, which they find soothing. The Goat is willing to take on responsibility and can rally the troops in a way that brings out the best in everyone.
Loves: The security of knowing that something will happen at a certain time of day. Success and achievement.
Hates: People who waste anything. People who are late, people who expect an easy ride and people who are stupid, incompetent or who don’t care and ruin the efforts of those who do. Failure and rejection.
Needs To Cultivate: To Cultivate: The acceptance that not everything is perfect or can be done perfectly. Homing in on what is good and not concentrating on what is bad. A more optimistic outlook and positive thinking.
Mental stress or worry is a sign that you are overthinking things. Your ruler, Saturn, in your subconscious realm clashing with Chiron in the zone that rules your mind can make you pretty pessimistic. If you can’t see the positive side of things then at least stop assuming the worst. How you see things is how they are. Changing your reality won’t happen overnight, but it will happen eventually if you change your mind.
